How to Play
Press Start Catching! and listen carefully. Two different open-string notes will play one after the other.
Remember both sounds and their order.
When the first note begins to fall, choose the matching string: G, D, A or E.
Then catch the second note by choosing the string you heard second.
Get both notes right to complete the round. A missed pair costs a life, so listen before you leap!
Why This Game Helps
Catch the Notes trains more than simple note recognition. Students practise hearing the four violin open strings, holding two sounds in musical memory, and remembering which came first. That combination supports tuning, listening, sight-reading and the ability to follow short musical patterns by ear.
